On March 8th, we’ll celebrate International Women’s Day, a day to honor the achievements of women around the world, spread awareness of female inequality, and inspire action for gender parity.
Sadly, even in 2022 women around the world still experience vast inequalities in rights, access to care, opportunities, and wages. On average, women in similar roles as men with equivalent expertise make 20% less than their male counterparts. Women’s safety and security are also issues, with nearly 5 million reported violent
crimes against women in the US alone each year.
Regardless of your gender, International Women’s Day is an opportunity for us to band together to fight for women’s rights around the world. It’s also a special day to celebrate the women closest to you and let them know you’re proud of their accomplishments and are cheering them on.
To help you show the fierce females in your life that you care, we compiled a list of the best empowering gifts for your female friends, family members, and coworkers to eat, drink, work, and play!
