- 2-1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter softened (equals two sticks)
- 1-1/2 cups white sugar
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups bittersweet chocolate
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a small mixing bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, honey, eggs, and vanilla. Gradually add the dry ingredients until a dough forms. Stir in the chocolate chips.
With a small ice cream scooper, drop portions of dough onto cookie sheets lined with parchment paper. Bake for 8-10 minutes, rotating the cookies after 5 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
Cookies will keep in an airtight container for a week or more. But I promise, they won't last that long. :-)
