Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookie

These chocolate chip cookies are chewy and crispy, and thrilling to taste straight out of the oven. The secret ingredient is honey, which adds a new layer of sweetness that is just delightful!

  • Kitchen Aid Mixer
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Ice Cream/Melon Scoop


  • 2-1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened (equals two sticks)
  • 1-1/2 cups white sugar
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups bittersweet chocolate


  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • In a small mixing bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, honey, eggs, and vanilla. Gradually add the dry ingredients until a dough forms. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • With a small ice cream scooper, drop portions of dough onto cookie sheets lined with parchment paper. Bake for 8-10 minutes, rotating the cookies after 5 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.


Cookies will keep in an airtight container for a week or more. But I promise, they won't last that long. :-)
